Frequently asked questions

How do I budget biweekly paychecks?

Start with your actual after-tax paycheck, list bills by due date, and allocate each check to upcoming expenses. A monthly average is useful for planning, but don't spend a third paycheck before it arrives.

Is biweekly the same as twice monthly?

No. Biweekly means every 14 days, usually 26 payments per year. Twice monthly means 24 payments per year. This calculator is for biweekly pay.
